JOHN LASSETER IS MY FAVORITE- Rachel Roberts

I have an unhealthy addiction to Disney, especially Pixar. John Lasseter is basically the king of Pixar. He's directed two of my absolute favorite Pixar movies, A Bug's Life and Toy story. Both movies are incredibly imaginative, toys that come to life when you leave the room and a society of bugs living on an island aren't really normal. The animation phenomenal. The voice actors do an amazing job. And John Lasseter does this thing with all the Pixar movies where he puts "A113" and the Pizza Planet Truck (as seen below). In Toy Story, humans (like Andy) play a very important part in the plot, but in Bug's Life there is no human contact at all. I find the color scheme of Bug's Life more visually pleasing than Toy Story. But I like how Toy Story explores that "what if" question I had as a child of if my toys had thoughts and feelings. Bug's Life could have been people instead of bugs, they where basically bugs in human form, but for me, that made it easier to relate to the characters. Which is another great thing about Lasseter's movies, all of his insanely imaginative characters are incredibly relatable. Like at some point in our lives we have felt like Flick or Woody. Or Lightening McQueen or Lotso. Even though they aren't people, you can still totally understand what they are going though.
