If I could be any fictional character I would be Cammie Morgan from the Gallagher Girls series. Cammie Morgan is a high school student that goes to the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women- a secret school for spies. She gets to go to spy school. I feel like that's enough said right there, but I'll go on because I need to meet 150 words. She has two amazing best friends (also spies) that she goes on unsanctioned,
expulsion-worthy missions with. Basically gets to
save the world on a weekly basis. Cammie has a very supportive mother, who just happens to be a retired spy legend. She is fluent in a million different languages (probably only ten but still...). Cammie gets to go to a bunch of white-tie (yeah, not just black-tie, white-tie) affairs and wear the incredible designer dresses and shoes. She gets to use all the really cool spy gadgets. She also has really cool problems. They are problems nonetheless, but they are much more glamorous than mine. I worry about watching too much Netflix, eating too much white bread, whether or not I've finished my calculus homework, and the occasional catastrophe like I have nothing to wear to school tomorrow, and then I end up wearing the same long-sleeve t-shirt, black leggings, and tennis shoes that seem to have become my uniform*. Cammie gets to worry about the strength of the tether line that allows her to zip line over the rooftops of Manhattan and whether or not her concealed firearm is showing through her Versace red, silk dress. Although her life is stressful, it is exciting, and there's a lot to be said for that kind of thrill.
*I realize these are totally first-world problems and I kind of feel like a brat for admitting that these are actually things that stress me out. Please forgive my whining. It's an artistic choice.
