So, I’m not gonna lie. Junior year has definitely been really tough. It’s a balancing game. WIth band and the musical and schoolwork and band and more band, time management had been the key to everything. While sometimes I’m super proud of my achievements like GSA and stuff, there are other things that I know I could do better. For example, I could not be writing this at 11 an hour before it’s due. Yeah, that would probably be a good idea. Regardless of my struggles and the stress that this year has put me through, it’s been an amazing year with amazing classes. This year has set me up for college through its intensity and also the results that it’s had. I got into NHS, GSA, and did relatively decent on the ACT. This summer I will be doing nothing for a grand total of two days. I start the summer out working and dogsitting and grandmasitting (yes, that’s totally a thing). Then I go to DMA (Drum Major Academy) where I will wave my arms with other arm wavers for about a week. Then I go to GSA for three weeks. Then I come home for two days. Then college visits. Then band camp. So, yeah. Summer reading should be fun to fit in there.
