post 26 mason saunders

I don't have too much to critique this year for english. Unlike some of the other classes that I took this year, I did not find english to be a terribly complicated course. The constant essay prompts that we wrote as well as the multiple choice tests served well to prepare us for the ap test as far as I can tell at this point. I particularly enjoyed the blog posts and found them to be an excellent opportunity to share both with my classmates and teachers a little insight to what was happening week to week in my life. I also appreciated the discussions we had during class despite the topics being somewhat boring to me at first. They really forced me to share my academic opinions with the class, something that I have failed to do well in the past years, especially in Mr. Behlers. Socratic seminars should definitely be continued but the essay topics that they are on could be made slightly more relevant and interesting for the fraction of individuals who don't enjoy discussing the historical progression of the english language. That aside, I felt well prepared for all of my exams and I found english to be an enjoyable class filled with great friends and you can't ask for much more than that.
