Rick Marino 26

I'm going to make this as clear-cut and to the point as possible:

The Good:

- Writing with style book- This book was extremely eye-opening. I expected just another dusty and dry "how-to" manual, but what I got was a deliciously refreshing lesson. However, I do think we spent a little too much time on it.

- ACT prep- The tips and practice multiple choice for the ACT were very informative and aided in boosting my score

-  Classroom atmosphere- I felt that the relatively-laid back classroom vibe was very fitting. That's not to say that learning wasn't the number 1 objective. But there wasn't any hesitation to take an internet video break from stressful or mundane tasks

Possible Improvements:

- Essay Grading- I wasn't a huge fan of the full class grading style. If someone voiced their opinion, it seemed like the rest of the class would conform to that opinion. The small-group discussions were much more personal and helpful for me.

- Finals- I really liked the idea of having a speech and a psa for our finals instead of multiple choice or an essay. However, we didn't receive the information until late into each semester. If we had received the instructions earlier I believe we could have produced better work,

Honestly, I racked my brain for more suggestions, but came up blank. Thanks for the cool year Logsdon!
