20 years earlier - Brian Sato

Technology is all around us and has been used by people everyday such as phones, tablets, TVs and other electronics that can be easily used to connect to other people. I wake up every morning and check my phone as a daily routine. I can't imagine how it would be like for me to not have a device with me at all times.

If I was born 20 years earlier, I wouldn't wake up to my handy dandy high tech I Phone everyday. My favorite search engine, Google wouldn't have existed either. It's easier to connect with your friends and family with a cellphone. But not having an I Phone would make it better to connect with friends because you're interacting with them one on one which I think is very essential in a friendship. You can create great memories such as doing things that you normally wouldn't do or regret. You would spend more time with them in person instead of texting them about your day or snap-chatting them about what you're doing at that moment. People would have better relationships. The best time period would be right now in the 21st century. Technology isn't that complicated yet and is easy to use. The Internet is a powerful tool that can be used anywhere that has service. Even though many people use technology, there are still great relationships/friendships that have happened because of interacting with people in person. This time period is probably the best in terms of technology.
