Assignment 20 Rick Marino

Heyyy there.....Chef Marino here, your favorite food enthusiast. I'm here to educate you on how to cook yet another scrumdidiliumptous dish to impress your family and friends. Today it will be one of my personal favorites: pasta with sauce. This basic, yet classic dish has delighted my taste buds ever since I can remember. My Italian roots have put a major influence onto my culinary career, and with this simple concoction, you too can spice up your culinary culture.

So here we go....I've gathered my finest and freshest ingredients for that optimal savory flavor. If your following along, go ahead and round up two large pots, olive oil, basil, sage, wine, garlic, salt, pepper, sugar, tomato puree, and of course pasta. Pick out your favorite pasta. For this meal, I'll be using my go-to, Prime Selection Deluxe Linguini.

First, set your pot on the stove, and turn up the heat to a low setting. Then pour olive oil into the pot until it completely spans the area of the bottom of the pot. Add a dabble or so of wine and a couple of leaves of sage and basil as well as one or two cloves of garlic. Let this mix simmer for awhile until a light boiling occurs, at which point the stove is turned off. Next, empty two cans of tomato puree, or enough to fill the pot. Then your chef instincts come into play. After sampling your creation, augment it with appropriate amounts of salt, pepper, and sugar.

All you need to do now is boil a package of pasta in your other pot and BOOM BANG POWW, you've got yourself your very own delectable authentic Italian dinner.
