Assignment 21 -- Andrew Thompson

... there is an infinite amount of me's doing the exact same thing as me. Well, actually I think this theory is kind of disproven at this point by, you know, science. But assuming that the possibility of DNA based life is not zero and the types of DNA based life is finite and that the universe is indeed infinite, then the theory stays rock solid. There are an infinite number of me's typing this and an infinite number of you's reading it. And maybe I actually did something productive in one of my alternate lives, like winning an award requiring more than basic participation. But I like to think about a bunch of me's doing the same exact things and making the same exact mistakes as me because it's funnier to think of me being infinitely stupid. Like that one time in like third grade I tried to pick up a firework while it was still fire-working and blazing hot. Ahh, third grade was a traumatizing experience. And it was that way an infinite amount of times. Maybe.
