Assignment 21- Meriwether Carling
There will always be someone better: smarter, taller, more athletic, more successful, prettier, wealthier. The list could go on and on. Somewhere in the universe you are that person that people see as "better". You are the superior one. Somewhere in the universe you see another in this light. Whether it's clothes or grades or sports teams, most people aren't content with what they have. If junior year has taught me anything (other than the fact that procrastination will become the death of you) it would be that comparison=disappointment=sadness. Why do people do this? Everyone has their own strengths and their own weaknesses. Lets give some examples. Maybe Becky is super smart. Good job Becky! Maybe Bob is an amazing basketball player. You go Bob! My whole point to this blog post (which I am doing on the very last day...thanks procrastination:-)))) ) is that you must be grateful for what you have. Don't compare yourself to others!! Be happy!! Somewhere in the universe someone wishes that they could have what you do.
