junior year- Rachel Roberts

Yet another flat line school year in the life of Rachel Roberts, just slightly more stressful. I had one goal for myself at the beining of the school year that I have set almost every year, to actually be a participating member of the school population (mainly for the purpose of college rec letters). This did not happen (yet again).
I didn't learn any Earth shattering lessons or take any big risks.
But I did manage to push myself out of my comfort zone (a little). I audition for "Its a Grand Night for Singing" at UK and I actually got in dispite looking utterly terrified. So I will spend the first part of my summer at rehersals and performances for Grand Night, which I am super exicted for. The rest of my summer will devoted too training for cross country, and hopefully improving my race time significantly.
I'm also really looking forward to our performances of Jungle Book, which I'm really happy I auditioned for.
I really hope senior year is better than this year, meaning it has contain another school musical to even be comparable (cough cough Into the Wood). I hope the nightly work load from school is less and my mentoring project goes smoothly. I also hope I can finally commit and follow through with the goal I set for myself every year. That means actual class participation without wanting to vomit.
