Assignment #21 - Daniel Kolpek
At this very moment, light waves from the sun are traversing the universe. They are hitting every object in their path and creating light for all to see. They are sustaining life and transferring energy everywhere throughout the galaxy. They are travelling far outside our galaxy and continuing to approach the edge of the universe. They are spreading to planets and stars and cutting out the darkness. They are providing electricity to many different facilities on Earth that are run on solar power. They are transferring far more energy to the Earth than we ever use. They are moving at a speed of 299,792,458 meters per second. They are being interfered with by other waves. They are giving color to the universe and being intercepted by the rods and cones in our eyes. They are making contact with humans and other living creatures. They are constantly moving and interacting with all types of matter in the universe.
