Assignment 19 Brian Sato
My parents would always drill in my head "Finish your work early, don't procrastinate." Of course I didn't follow through this idea for most of my life especially middle school, freshmen year and the beginning of sophomore year. But junior year has been a lot of stress so doing assignments early is a huge stress reliever. Procrastinating has consequences. I would stay up late finishing my homework and the next morning would be hell. I would sleep in class and wouldn't pay attention at all to my teachers. It affected my grade as well as my health. Now that I try and finish my work early, I can sleep more and stress less. I feel mostly great the next day and can focus on my work at school as well as being able to listen to my teachers. Not procrastinating feels good both physically and mentally and the quality of work is usually better. This advice could be used not only for school but for other things such as work and can be used throughout life.
