Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Timeless classics that practically every kid has seen. Both series can be accredited to the brilliance of George Lucas who produced two of the best movies to this day. Raiders of the Lost Arc and A New Hope, while taking place in considerably different settings, are actually quite similar in style. First off, the music is the most strikingly similar aspect. This is most likely because John Williams orchestrated the entirety of both soundtracks. Besides this, both follow a cliché plot pitting select group of underdogs against a much larger oppressive enemy with sinister plans. In the case of star wars, it's the rebels versus the empire while in raiders its Indiana and Marion as well as select friends of Jones versus the Nazis as they battle their way to the Ark of the Covenant. All in all, both pieces are great and should be seen by everyone at least once in their lives.
