I know you’ve seen this a thousand times, but this event to me resonated into the world in a way that others couldn’t. Kids are a blank slate. They are sponges, learning new things at every moment. They are our future. For someone to step into an elementary school and take away the purest people on this earth is beyond me. This knowledge isn’t just something that I know. Everyone knows that kids aren’t adults. They haven’t been shaped by bad life experiences like other adults. There is no reason they deserved the fate they received. They are clean. This event unified the country in a state of mourning beyond that of anything else. In this picture you see the heartbreak felt by each human on the planet. The agonizing cry made by every mother who lost her child resonated throughout each state, each mother feeling a little differently with the news, and each heart filled with a little more darkness.
