Cameron Combs-Assingment 12

I have decided to go with something big for my inanimate object. Our family’s swimming pool is my favorite inanimate object. While inanimate objects are considered lifeless, this pool comes to life in the summer. Every day and every night, friends from in and out of the neighborhood gather at our house to enjoy this pool. This past summer we hosted a pool party which was probably the most exciting instance in our pool’s history. The pool watched alongside as everyone enjoyed the pool in their preferred manner. Some laid out by the side of the pool while others immediately plopped into the water. All of the kids laughing and splashing while adults indulged in conversations with their friends. All through the day everyone enjoyed themselves and as the sun set, the pool was dimly lit by the deck lights scattered around the pool. The guests departed a few at a time and as they did the pool watched over those who remained as they kept the fun rolling on into the night until eventually they had all left. While this point marked the end of this experience, everyone knew another amazing moment was not far away.
