Rick Marino 9

Simply put, "war is bad, m'kay"(possible quote from Mr. Mackey from South Park). With the exception of scar-faced villains and Hitler,  no one likes the death of people. If all of the world frowned upon violence and was capable of resolving disputes with something called COMPRIMISE, then war would be cast aside and the great wall of violence would be ravenously razed by peoples of peace. Don't get me wrong, arguments would still continue, but opposing parties would collide like pillows, with little damage done, instead of colliding like battering rams that vigorously reverberate violence into the vitality of the parties. Of course, these are just childish dreams that stem from the hopeful hippie inside of me. Unless some radical change occurs, war and aggression will always exist in the human race. The only scenario of total human unity that comes to mind is an alien invasion, in which all of earth has to work together to defend the planet. In reality though, if extraterrestrials discovered us, they would undoubtedly possess more complex technology and would destroy us effortlessly. But I digress. War is necessary if an injustice is being done and the culprit refuses to stop. If a country reasonably concludes it has the power to eliminate an injustice without causing further dilemmas, then it is their responsibility to take action.
