Post 10 Mason Saunders

The scariest moment of my life occurred the summer of 2013. My dad has a friend who can get discount tickets to Kings Island so at least once every year my family will all go together and enjoy the park for a day. Anyways, me and the older of my two sisters, Lindsey, decided to separate from the rest of my family and go to the back corner of the park to ride the hanging roller coaster known as Top Gun. After about half an hour of waiting we finally got our pick in seats and of course, we elect to sit at the very front. The ride commenced and as the coaster slowly began to drag its way up the slope, I began focusing on the stabilizing tracks on the bottom of the coast. I focused so much on these tracks, in fact, that I forgot it was a hanging coaster. So as we get to the end of the slope and are hanging in those few seconds of drop, I notice that the stabilizer track ends abruptly. Not thinking I assume these are the supporting tracks and that they broke off at some point and I begin to "freak out" as my sister recalls. As soon as the coaster drops I realize my mistake but not until I felt the biggest thrill of my life as I thought the track had ended and that I would plummet to my death 60 meters below.
