I think that there is a time for war in our world, despite the moral idea of if war in okay or not. I find it impossible to claim the killing of men on two opposing sides could every be morally right but instead agree it is just the lesser of 2 evils. When we, the United States, decided to go to war with countries in the Middle East, we had "good" reason. We wished to hurt the forces attempting to hurt us before they could do so. By going over and killing thousands of people, we were saving the lives of thousands. Killing to stop killing just seems like an eye for and eye, but, I guess, if you are saving more of your own by doing so then you are on the better side of this two evils. I do think that in the time of war with the middle east, because of the way our country is set up, it was the responsibility of us to go to war. By being a citizen of the United States, it is understood the government will protect you, so if war is what they must do to protect us then war is a necessity. I think if everyone in this world was intelligent there would be alternatives that could be far more effective, but, since not everyone in the world is on the same page, war tends to be the only answer everyone can understand.
