#5 For the love and hate of television- Jessica Sunnenberg

Lets be real. Who even watches regular television anymore when there is netflix and hulu and on demand and amazon prime? Not this girl. Getting a smart TV has been the best/worst thing that has ever happened in our household. Yes, we have all of those television services, and yes, it is the best thing ever because you literally never miss a show.

Recently I have gotten my parents hooked on Grey's anatomy. Now I have been wanting to start watching this for a while now, but of course I was too busy watching evry episode of The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Glee, House, Criminal Minds.......you get the point. Considering my family got netflix this time last year, I'm really not sure how that is even possible. Anyways Grey's has become a family thing. Our weekends now consist of binge watching it and we have managed to get through like 4 seasons in a very short amount of time.

Sidenote: You know that thing netflix does where you have been watching a show for a while (like a couple hours) and it comes up with the thing that says "Are you still watching?" Like yes. I am still watching. Is there a problem with laying on my couch and watching endless hours of tv? Gosh. I can just feel the judgement sometimes.

Anyways, although netflix is amazing, it is also plays a major role in my procrastination problem. Like why do the millions of other things I need to get done when I could watch more of my favorite show? I cannot begin to tell you the number of times where I have said "okay, this is the last episode I will watch and then I will start my homework." LIES. I sit on a throne of lies.

Netflix and I have a love-hate relationship (mostly love though)
