Thanksgiving is bad. (Assignment 14) -- Andrew Thompson

I can confidently say that Thanksgiving is my least favorite holiday. I actually have zero good memories from any Thanksgiving, which is pretty sad, actually.
I always have two Thanksgivings, the first with my dad's side of the family and the second with my mom's. My first Thanksgiving always involves my sister, my dad, and I going to my aunt's house in Tennessee and meeting my grandparents there. We get there in time for lunch, eat, make small talk, and then leave. The next day, on actual Thanksgiving, my mom cooks lunch for herself, my sister, and me. We treat it as a pretty regular meal, aside from using the "nice china" my mom only breaks out on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Maybe it is just because I really don't like interacting with people in general or it's because I honestly can't get that hyped up over food, but I really don't like this holiday.  I know it's important to spend time with family while you still have them, because you never no blah blah blah, but I could definitely go without the few hours that of boredom that comes with Thanksgiving.
