Assignment 14 Alexis Farmer

My Thanksgiving is a little weird. I have a really small family. It just me, my parents, and my grandma. My Grandma lives in North Carolina so usually, every year, She comes to Kentucky and we just have a small Thanksgiving meal. Ever couple of years we go to Mississippi for Thanksgiving dinner. This is where my aunts, uncles, and godparents live. I really enjoy going to Mississippi for thanksgiving because tons of people usually come to my godmother Charlene's house, and she is a really good cook. I also like it because I get to see my Aunt Linda. She is from New Orleans so her Thanksgiving dinner is a little different. She always cooks the best crab, and corn. Since I don't have a big family, I really enjoy going to Mississippi because I get a better sense of what its like to have one. Even though they aren't my real aunts,and uncles, they still treat me like their niece. Whether we go to Mississippi. North Carolina, or Kentucky, as long as i'm with my family, I  have a good time.
