Assignment #10: Liz Graves

ZOMBIES HAVE ATTACKED
I have never watched an entire episode of the Walking Dead (shocking I know), so my plan is based off of the movies World War Z and Warm Bodies, and the popular video game Plants vs. Zombies.
I would first go to an arms dealer and buy the biggest, most powerful guns in stock and all the ammunition I could afford (unless I have unlimited funds, then I would buy everything). If he happened to have any little plants that fired at zombies or cherry bombs I would buy those too (Plants vs. Zombies).
Next, I would go to the grocery store with all the people I'd teamed up with in the apocalypse. We would each get a grocery cart and fill it with all the canned goods, crackers, energy bars, protein bars, chocolate chips (to boost moral), water, matches, flashlights, and batteries we could fit in our carts. On the way home we would stop by the gas station and buy all the gas we could afford (in case we had to make a quick getaway).
Once we were home, we would barricade all the windows and doors. After we'd stocked the pantry and loaded all the weapons, we would figure out a plan for if/when the zombies attacked, and an escape plan if that plan failed. If one of us somehow became a zombie, we would agree on a way to kill the person if there is no remedy, or a way to contain the person if they is a remedy.
If zombies came to the house, we would try to reason with them from afar (based on plot of Warm Bodies). If that didn't work we would shoot them (World War Z).
However, according to a Facebook game in 2010, I am the first to die in a zombie apocalypse, so all of this planning is probably futile.
