Dwight's Speech (assignment 9) Hannah Freibert

BLOOD ALONE MOVES THE WHEELS OF HISTORY, well, not entirely. But I could never pass up the opportunity to quote God's gift to modern comedy, Dwight K. Schrute- who coincidentally is (unknowingly) quoting Benito Mussolini... nice.

Even the least memorable of wars still claimed the lives of masses. The ones forgotten and the ones skipped over in history class. I don't think any war can be classified as moral, no matter the motivation or ending point x on the map. The means to obtain it icreasingly more gruesome as time goes on, with human's having the power to eliminate the entire race only existing in the last 100 years. Destructive as it may be, is it entirely avoidable? No. The notion that all the countries in the world can hold hands and sing Kumbaya isn't one very realistic. Despite the chanters of "world peace" in Miss Congeniality, war happens, and is at times the only call to the change needed for progress.
