Post 10-Meriwether Carling

Summer of 2015. A couple of girls were planning on going to Europe to visit Switzerland and Italy. They were so excited and couldn't wait to see what adventures the foreign countries had in store for them.

 First Destination: Switzerland-
It was the very first day of the trip and they all had just gotten off an 8 hour plane ride. When they checked into the hotel they realized it was a family run hotel in the middle of nowhere. And when I say in the middle of the nowhere, I mean right smack dab in the middle of the Swiss Alps. Anyway back to the story, they were given a key, the only one to the room, and headed upstairs, little did they know what was in store for them.

When they arrived at the room they examined it and found that there was a small patio connected to it through a small glass door. One of the girls went over to it and tried to open it but it wouldn't budge. Finally, after one last tug it came flying off, hinges and all. But this small bump in the road didn't stop them from going outside and looking at the magnificent view the Swiss Alps offered.

That night, when it was time for bed, everyone was already jet lagged to the max. Unfortuneatly, the door that they had broken earlier in the day (which they managed to "fix") would't lock and neither would the window. After careful consideration, everyone in the room decided to not worry about it and go to sleep.

Then it happened. Everyone was in that phase between being asleep and awake, still capable of hearing their surrounding very clearly.

"HELP GOD, SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME."

Loud, clear, and unmistakeable. A shrill from an unknown individual. The scream seemed to come from right outside the window. The girls raised from their beds slowly. An eerie chill rushed over their bodies. Confused and frightened, they all questioned each other to make sure they weren't insane and hearing voices. But, the same thing was heard throughout the room. 6 words, branded into their minds, unable to go back to sleep because of it. All alone, in a foreign country, with nothing to protect them but overpacked suitcases and one wooden chair (these aren't even weapons capable of protection). The girls came to a conclusion to wait to see if the scream would come again, it never did.

To this day, the girls will never know who screamed, why, or what happened...
